On behalf of the Uzbekistan national holding company, Uzbekneftegaz, I would like to express our gratitude for the long-lasting relationship we have forged with ITE Group plc, particularly in organising and supporting the international oil and gas exhibition and conference, OGU.

We also acknowledge the partnership between ITE and Uzbekneftegaz since 1997 that has enabled a number of similar exhibitions to take place over the years.

Uzbekneftegaz and ITE are therefore pleased to announce the continuation of this partnership and the launch of the 12 th Uzbekistan International Oil & Gas Conference, OGU, which will be held on 13-15 May 2008. The co-located international conference will take place on 14-15 May 2008 at the Intercontinental-Tashkent Hotel under the theme: ‘Development of oil, gas and petrochemical production in Uzbekistan and Central Asia'

In order to attract the maximum number of participants to OGU 2008, the management of Uzbeknefetegaz has agreed to commence promotion of the event immediately.
